From our laundry detergents to our hand soaps, Kalista Salon & Spa prides itself on being an eco-responsible business. It is important to us that, to the absolute greatest extent possible, every single product we use is environmentally friendly. WE DO NOT HAVE ONE ITEM IN OUR SPA TESTED ON ANIMALS. This is tricky because the ingredients in some products are initially tested on animals, but the final products are not. We go to great lengths to make sure the ingredients ARE NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS! We are also members of the ACLU to combat discrimination! Our staff is a melting pot of people and everyone of every race, religion, and nationality is welcome to work for us and visit us!!!!! But we care about more than just the environment: Besides the style and comfort for which we are known, we offer our clients laughter, hospitality, and a sense of friendship, 7 days a week! Owners Comments I'm Kimberly, owner of Kalista, and I want to thank you for taking the time to look through the Kalista site. I've owned Kalista now for 11 years--and have loved every minute of it. A big part of what makes Kalista great is the continuing education of its staff--including me. It's important to me that all of my technicians are up to date on the latest techniques and modalities for their respective trades. My goal is to create an environment that women and men can build foundations on. My salon is a family where dreams become realities. The success of this salon is the success of this staff.
